FREE ASTROLOGY CALCULATOR
Love Calculator
Compare how two people describe six relationship preferences including communication, planning, space, conflict, affection and social time.
METHOD & EXPLANATION
What the Love Calculator Compares
The love calculator compares two sets of answers about six habits: direct communication, planning, independence, conflict pacing, affection and social energy. Each person selects a value from one to five. The tool then compares the absolute difference for each matching preference.
How We Calculate Answer Similarity
The love calculator computes the mean gap between all six paired responses. A four-point gap on a five-point scale corresponds to the maximum possible difference; the index equals 100 minus this mean gap divided by four and multiplied by 100. Similarity measures only the selected answers.
What the Love Calculator Cannot Tell You
This calculator cannot tell if two people love each other, are emotionally safe, or will remain together. It is a discussion starter for adults who can answer for themselves. Very different preferences are not inherently bad: negotiation and mutual respect matter.
Using Your Result Together
When you finish this calculator, discuss where you agreed and where you differed. Ask which preferences are flexible, which are boundaries, and what practical adjustment you would both welcome. A separate paid birth-chart report offers a different symbolic perspective, not a verified forecast.
Putting the result into context
The percentage is a similarity of answers, so 100% means you chose the same six numbers and nothing more. A couple at 60% who talk about the gaps is in a better position than a couple at 95% who assume there is nothing to discuss.
Look at the six lines one at a time. Conflict pacing and independence deserve particular attention, because both can be settled by plain agreement: when to pause an argument, how much time alone is ordinary.
Frequently asked questions
Does this calculator measure whether someone loves me?
No. It compares six independently chosen preferences from both people. Real love requires expressed feelings and genuine interaction.
Is the love calculator free?
Yes. The similarity figure, the six lines and the method are shown without an email address or purchase.
Is the percentage a scientific measure of love?
No. It is arithmetic on six pairs of ratings. It does not measure feelings and predicts nothing about a relationship.
What does the paid AstroSynth report add?
A different kind of reading: a symbolic interpretation of two birth charts. It is optional and unrelated to this percentage.
